Children in The Downs Primary School and Nursery have been completing work around Remembrance Day. Reception - Year 6 classes have been learning when its celebrated, why we celebrate it, what the poppies represent. They then created their own poppies for a Remembrance Day display throughout the school and participated in the 2 minute silence.
