Our school has a school uniform policy and it is expected that all children will wear school uniform, with the exception of the children in our nursery classes. We believe this fosters a feeling of school identity and promotes a sense of pride in being part of the school community. Our uniform policy is available in full in the policies section of this website.
Our school uniform and other items bearing our school logo are available for purchase from the local shop:
17-18 St.James Centre
If you prefer to buy plain school uniform in the school colours without the school logo you are welcome to do so.
The school colours are royal blue, grey and white and school uniform style clothing is required. Any combination of the following would be appropriate; -
|School Uniform Items|
White shirt or poloshirt or white blouse
Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
Dark grey or black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
Plain black shoes/trainers
|Royal blue gingham dress or skirt can be worn in the Summer Term|
If trainers are worn, we do ask that they be plain black without obvious or bright trim or logos please.
We discourage wearing any jewellery for safety reasons, as it can be a hazard in the playground or in P.E. Children may wear one set of small ear studs and a plain watch. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of jewellery or personal items.
All children are required to participate in physical education. It is essential that all children have a PE kit in school at all times for them to be able to fully take part in P.E. activities and to ensure that they remain safe and comfortable. No jewellery, including earrings, can be worn during P.E. Any combination of the following is acceptable: -
- White t-shirt or t-shirt in the child’s house colour
- Dark colour (grey/black/navy) sweatshirt
- Dark colour (grey/black/navy) joggers or shorts
- Swimming kit for years 5 and 6 including a swimming hat for long hair
Please note: all children will take part in outside P.E. lessons even during winter months.
